After having an excellent career, he is all set to hang his boots. Currently, he is playing BBL for Melbourne Renegades. He will take the final walk in the final match of the Melbourne Renegades.

Currently donning the Melbourne Renegades jersey in Australia’s thrilling Big Bash League, Marsh has chosen to conclude his illustrious career following the team’s last match of the season. The final showdown is set against Sydney Thunder on January 17, marking the end of an era for the cricket stalwart.

Stepping beyond the boundaries of domestic cricket, Marsh’s T20 journey has been a spectacle, amassing a total of 7,050 runs in 215 games at a formidable strike rate of 128. The left-handed maestro has even notched up two centuries, solidifying his reputation as a true force in the world of T20 cricket.

He said, “ I have loved playing for the Renegades, I’ve met some great people over the last five years and the friendships I’ve made will last a lifetime,” Marsh said as reported by cricket.com.au. “This playing group is special. They’ve been amazing to me, amazing teammates, and even better friends.”

Further, he added, “Our members and fans are some of the most passionate out there and I’m so thankful for their support over the journey. Stick with us, there’s a huge amount of talent in this group and I have no doubt they’ll lead this group back to the top. To the Renegades’ coaches and staff and everyone behind the scenes – thank you for backing me in from the start and over my final years. It’s made my job a little easier out in the middle.”
